Number of Hours: 37 per week - We welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part-time basis and are willing to consider any proposed flexible working patterns subject to business need.

Based at: M1 Junction 27 area (with frequent trips to London & throughout England)

Host Force: This role will be hosted by Dorset Police working within the NPCC Transforming Forensics Programme.

Brief Purpose:

Transforming Forensics is a national initiative to explore and develop options for future forensic service delivery of a fully integrated forensic service that will better support policing and the wider criminal justice system, and adapt more readily to future needs.

The purpose of the Team Secretary role is to work as a team member providing administrative support to the Transforming Forensics Programme Team, the post holder will work closely with the Project Support Officer and Senior Management Team to assist with the implementation of the Transforming Forensics National Programme. To ensure that all aspects of general clerical and administrative support to the programme team are effectively carried out. Specific areas of service including filing, record keeping, minute taking and liaison with external Forces.

Rank/Grade: The salary will be within Grade E commencing at £22,221 and rising by yearly increments to £25,914 per annum.

Allowances: This role attracts no additional allowances beyond the home Force Policy.

Secondment to Dorset Police will be until 31 March 2020, subject to continued programme funding.
