JOB TITLE: Chartered / Near Chartered Structural Engineer
SALARY & BENEFITS: £30k up to £35k and benefits dependent on previous experience
WORKING HOURS: Full Time – Monday to Friday
THE COMPANY: We are a busy Structural & Civil design consultancy with a varied and
expanding workload and who have immediate requirements for a Chartered or Near Chartered Structural Engineer to be based at their office based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
This a busy, hands on role where successful applicants will be expected to liaise with clients, nurture new business and become a key member of a long-established successful organisation.
THE ROLE: As a Structural Engineer this is an opportunity for you to really maximise your skills set whilst being challenged daily. You will be liaising with a range of Clients, Architects (and other Consultants) and Contractors on a daily basis. The role will be offered to the candidate who can bring out the best from their team, whilst remaining at the helm of a number of projects, attending site and client meetings.
Key Duties for the Structural Engineers role :-
- Production of structural design deliverables to meet clients objectives in reaching a design solution (which will include assessment calculations and technical reports)
- Analysing, assisting and managing design deliverables and engineering drawings
- Liaising with and managing other team members to provide co-ordinated design solutions
- Attend site and client meetings and liaise regularly with Contractors
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Structural Engineers position must be qualified by experience within a similar role or hold related Engineering qualifications. Candidates will need good IT skills and to be proficient in related software. You must have a excellent spoken and written communication skills, a valid UK Driving Licence and must live within commutable distance to Cirencester.
