Personal Assistant to Vice Principal (Full Time / term time only)

We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to provide high quality administrative services to the College Vice Principal for 14-19 Provision.

In this key role you will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Vice Principal. Duties also include maintaining a schedule of meetings, taking minutes, following up on action points and maintaining documentation in accordance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. You will also provide information and advice to staff on various matters relating to study programmes and more specifically student placements.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent organisational and administrative skills including the ability to take accurate minutes and prepare agendas. You must be able to effectively manage your own workload through prioritisation and adhere to strict deadlines.

The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including senior managers and employers is essential along with effective management of meetings.

You must have accurate record keeping and digital skills, have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing a high standard of work at all times. Experience of working in the FE sector would be an advantage.

You will be educated to Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent). A Level 3 or above qualification in a relevant subject is essential.
