Business Development Manager - Fire Safety 
Home/Field Based (covering the South and South West, including the M4 corridor)

Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join them and increase sales of their fire safety solutions throughout the South and South West.

The Role 

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll increase sales of our client’s fire safety solutions.  

Covering a region including the M4 corridor, Dorset, Hampshire, Sussex, Devon and Cornwall, you’ll spend three – four days a week visiting fire safety and FM companies, as well as prospects and trade distributors.  

Working from a portfolio of pre-established customers, you will:  

- Increase sales via existing distributors  
- Train, coach and support distributors  
- Identify business opportunities, raise quotes for trade distributors and help them to follow up leads  
- Follow up marketing leads and approach new prospects  
- Organise special promotions, events and displays to generate leads  
- Visit our client’s office in Oakham at least once a month  

About You

To be considered as a Business Development Manager, you’ll need:

- Previous B2B field sales experience
- Experience of selling to various contract types within organisations of different sizes  
- A full driving licence and the willingness to stay away overnight in hotels  
- Excellent relationship-building skills  
- A results-driven approach  

Experience in the fire safety industry would be beneficial to your application.
