Business Improvement and Intelligence Opportunities
Barnsley Council's Core Business Improvement and Intelligence (BII) Team is changing! The BII team will include two new Lead roles to help manage the team, and we are also creating a technical 'engine room', for which we will need two Technical Advisors to join us.
Some of the skills required across the four roles will include:
• Excellent customer relationship skills and experience;
• Strong management and first class leadership skills;
• Ability to develop visualisation tools (including dashboards, web maps and infographics);
• Data management skills including the integration and consolidation of data from various sources;
• Able to work agilely across different teams and locations;
• Data mining, machine learning and predictive analytics moving forward.
For any of the posts, you must be willing to adapt and work independently but still be a critical part of the team and work closely with your colleagues to ensure a consistent message is provided to customers. That message is; working with our customers alongside data, information, performance and intelligence, is crucial in driving forward change and improvement.
