Technical Manager
I am recruiting for a Technical Manager to join a global chemical business based just outside of Hull. This is role is offering a very competitive salary, 20% bonus and private healthcare.
The role will report directly into the Site Manager, will have 8 direct reports and will responsible for 2 plants. The role main purpose is to optimise the process of manufacture for both plants within the laboratory and technical support processes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
*
Champion the company's quality procedures and pillars to ensure that the objectives are achieved
*
Investigate and optimise any plant process deviations in order to improve the efficiency of the site
*
Ensure that all systems are used and are current
*
Act as the focal point for the business at a site level for all Quality and Technical projects
*
Ensure compliance to all site Safety Health & Environment (SHE) procedures
*
Providing key Technical and Customer services support for the site
Requirements
*
Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar field
*
Extensive experience of working in a laboratory or production environment
*
Strong knowledge of troubleshooting
*
Experience of working in Chemical industry is highly desirable
