Anderson Scott are seeking a passionate Health & Safety Coordinator to join a Worcestershire-based manufacturing business.
As Health and Safety Coordinator for this organisation it will be your responsibility to identify potential risks and champion best practice in relation to all aspects of Health and Safety, and Environmental sustainability matters.
The site has office and manufacturing and logistic departments, therefore it requires someone with experience of evaluating potential risk factors across a number of diverse environments.
You will be working with departmental managers in the development and maintenance of Safe Operating Procedures for all Company processes; ensuring compliance and maintaining associated records.
As H&S Champion for the business you will be required to give advice and support to others
to prevent accidents and damage to personnel and equipment. This will include the following duties:
* Completing site inspections, ensuring policies and procedures are being properly implemented and keeping records of inspection findings
* Ensuring all working practices comply with legislation
* Problem solving and root cause investigation
* Assist with the investigation of accident and near misses, ensuring any retraining or disciplinary procedures are followed up in a consistent manner
* Produce H&S reports, including near misses, accident ratios etc.
