Venatu Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with a Dealership who are looking for Technicians/ Fitters / Mechanics to work in a local

If you are a skilled / qualified / time served HGV / Technician / HGV Fitter and wish to work in a mixed fleet environment, as part of a successful team of technicians servicing and maintaining a fleet of HGVs you'll receiving ongoing training and development together with excellent company benefits.

Areas of Responsibility

• To work as an HGV Technician / Trailer Fitter
• on a fleet of HGVs to carry out routine maintenance and repairs to VOSA standard
• Diagnose and rectify all types of faults across the fleet
• Ensure all HGVs and trailers worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises.
• Liaise with the parts department to attain correct parts
• Ensure health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to when working.
• Ensure appropriate clocking's are made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
• Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses

Candidates should be able to demonstrate

• Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure
• Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
• High level of technical knowledge and ability in mechanical repair
