HR Business Partner and HR Officer roles.

This is a fantastic time to join The Two Counties Trust, established in 2016 with just 3 schools we now have 8 secondary schools within our Trust and we are rapidly growing. A Head of HR has put a harmonised employment framework in place and with over 1,200 staff we are now centralising HR to ensure that this framework is delivered consistently and to support the growth of our HR practices.

We are looking talented people who are excited by the prospect of being part of our ongoing development and who share our passion for excellence in customer service.

HR Business Partner (1 post)

Full-time

£29,909 - £32,233

Our HR Business Partner will work with a cluster of schools to provide advice, guidance and manage the day to day HR service in your group of schools. This will include overseeing recruitment, undertaking casework and ensuring that the relationship between the central HR transaction team and the school works effectively.

You will be on-site at schools for most of the week working with Headteachers, Senior Leaders, Governors and school staff, joining the central team at base in Ashfield for at least one day a week.

To secure this role you will need to be CIPD qualified to level 5 and have demonstrable experience of successfully working in a HR Business Partner role including complex case-work resolution. Experience of multi-site working and the education sector would be an advantage to your application.

As you will be representing the Trust and the Head of HR in your cohort of schools you must be able to operate as an ambassador for the Trust and be able to work independently whilst also supporting the work of the whole team.

HR Officer (2 posts)

Full-time

£21,074 - £23,111

The HR Officer roles are based at Ashfield and are our transactional roles. The posts are responsible for the organisation and execution of recruitment, appointments, contracts, attendance and all changes throughout the employee lifecycle. This role requires creativity to write eye-catching advertisements coupled an eye for detail which will be needed for calculating and inputting pay changes. As with the other roles, you will have a cluster of schools to manage and this role supports the work undertaken by the Business Partners.

To secure this role you must have experience of working in a generalist HR role with an understanding of the terms and conditions of employment in the education sector. As you will be applying the principles of employment law in your work we are ideally looking for someone who is CIPD qualified at level 3.

The Business Partner role requires travel day to day to our schools, all which are within a 20 mile radius of our base in Ashfield. The HR Officer will travel to schools as needed and as such both roles require the successful post holder to have suitable transport.
