Laurence Kirkby (Farms) Ltd is a family owned business based near Barton upon Humber with farming operations covering around 1100ha of combinable crops, sugar beet and vining peas.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated arable operator to join an established skilled team.

We are offering the opportunity to work with modern equipment with the fulfillment of achieving high standards of work.

Initially key responsibilities will be for primary and secondary cultivations (to include establishment of oilseed rape). Operating John Deere 8335RT with autotrac and Fendt tractors on RTK, using modern equipment and variable rate applications.

The role will also encompass supporting all other aspects of farm operations and estate maintenance.

The successful candidate will:

• Have proven track record of being self-motivated with strong work ethic
• Become a key member of the existing team whilst also happy to work on their own
• Have an understanding of precision farming equipment
• Maintain equipment to a high standard
• Work within Health and Safety procedures and policies
• PA1,PA2, PA4 and PA6, telescopic handler certificates preferred
• Full driving licence essential (Category H training will be given)

The ideal candidate will have a desire to ultimately progress to taking responsibility for spraying and fertilizer applications with a Challenger 645D self propelled sprayer.

Renumeration according to experience with accommodation available if required.
