Our client who specialise in steel production and engineering requires two Project Managers for permanant roles based in Sheffield
The main duties of the role are as follows:
* Be the main point of contact for customer contracts ensuring that contracts are managed in line with customer requirements
* Manage assigned projects through feasibility, initiation, planning, implementation and close in accordance with company project frameworks.
* Manage the project team and including 3rd party international suppliers.
* Build and maintain a good working relationship with the customer.
Candidates should have:
* Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
* An appreciation of QA, inspection, testing and documentation requirements
* Strong skills in creating and maintaining project plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies
* Significant prior experience of coordinating/managing contracts within a demanding engineering environment
Our ideal candidate will also have:
* A Degree Level Engineering Qualification
* Prince 2 practitioner (or equivalent)
Days/Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday 07.45 - 16.00
Some out of hours working & travel will be required
