The Abbeyfield Kirkcaldy Society
We are seeking to recruit a full-time Deputy Manager for our organisation. The society is a charity
which operates its care home, day support and outreach services from its base in central Kirkcaldy.
The successful candidate will have at least two years relevant experience of working at a senior
level with either nursing qualifications or a minimum of svq level 4 (either completed or working towards). It will be a requirement of the position to complete a management qualification within 2 years of
commencing the post.
Abbeyfield prides itself on having exceptionally high standards and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person who can contribute to our work and can manage the home successfully in our care manager's absence.
Applicants must be committed to working within a team, guiding and training junior staff and have a sound, extensive knowledge of the care sector including health & social care standards and Scottish social services codes of practice.
A good salary will be paid commensurate with qualifications and experience.
