Security CCTV Operator / Controller
Ipswich, Suffolk (IP3 8AQ)
Night shifts, 4 on, 4 off (20:00 - 08:00)
GBP10.98 per hour
Cordant Security are currently looking for a Corporate Security Officer to be based in the Ipswich, Suffolk area (IP3 8AQ). This will be working as part of the Company Security Team within the Security Management Centre (SMC). Interested candidates must have a valid frontline SIA licence/SIA training certificates.
Responsibilities of the Corporate Security Officer:
* Alarm Response & management
* CCTV monitoring
* Access control
* Remote alarm response
* Administrative tasks based within a control room environment
* Ensure all H&S policies are adhered to
* Ensuring that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas
* Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur
* To maintain a high level of security across the companies estate and ensure that staff and contractors operate within the bounds of Security and health & safety standards
* Any other corporate security officer tasks as required
Requirements of the Corporate Security Officer:
* Fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history
* Clear communication & administration skills
* Excellent customer service skills & support (both internal & external)
* Security systems knowledge & telephone/switchboard skills
* To be flexible and be able to work under pressure in an ever changing environment
* Previous experience operating in an alarm receiving centre is desirable
* Good computer skills are essential
* CCTV license is desirable
