Roles and Responsibilities
•Ability to utilise all manner of test equipment within the area to perform all of the required standard tests
•Development of new test programs/ manufacture of test harnesses and all other fixturisation
•Liaison with relevant Production engineer to enable inspection test standard times to be compiled, modified and implemented
•Ensure compliance to the company's registered Quality Management System BS EN ISO 9001/AS9100 as detailed in the Quality Manual
•Conform to electrical test methods as stipulated in the Quality Standards Manual (Q.S)
•Ensure product conformance to respective test criteria, i.e product specifications, drawings and acceptance test procedures
•Responsible for compiling and signing off final test result sheets on the company's product range
•Adhere to all company Health and Safety disciplines
•Possess good interpersonal skills. Have the ability to motivate and delegate. Practice a confident, enthusiastic, and professional attitude at all times
•Train employees within the area to conform to specified quality standards and approved procedures
•To be adaptable and flexible when required to work in other areas
Qualifications
•Minimum ONC or equivalent qualification in Electronic / Electrical Engineering preferred
Experience and Competencies
•Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing Company
•Minimum 1 year experience in a electro-mechanical manufacturing company
•The ability to use a PC
•Able to work with minimum supervision
•Able to use a microscope or magnifier for fine detail work
Physical Demands
•Manual handling of product would be required
•Good dexterity is required for the fine detail work
Workplace Environment
•Open plan production area
•Noise levels and dust typically associated with a production environment
