We are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner with an extensive knowledge of TUPE to join our team looking after the North West region on a six-month fixed term contract. You would be responsible for operational HR activities in the allocated business unit and to work closely with the senior management teams.

* The position will require the jobholder to travel frequently across the North West and UK wide basis as required to meet the demands of the role.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm equating to a 35-hour week

Duties:-

?? Provide advice to line managers on operational HR issues to minimize risk exposure to Company

?? Will own and drive TUPE activities, inclusive of mobilisation and transition processes from small to large transfers. TUPE will form a frequent and important part of this role

?? Managing disputes, discipline, grievance, redundancy type 'Case work'

* Promote effective communication and management of change within the business through formal organisation announcements, newsletters and team briefings
* Advise on company policies about terms and conditions of employment and monitor operational salary scales to ensure they are in line with company and industry norm
* Participate and contribute to the HR strategies, policies and procedures ensuring that operational requirements are met
* Support the implementation of a robust grading structure including the on-going development of job evaluation
* Deal effectively with Industrial Relations matters including Trade Union interface and negotiations
* Support the development of HR IMS documentation and processes, continually driving for improvement and efficiency and effecting necessary changes
* Participate in initial interviews with new employees transferring under TUPE

?? Fully understand business unit activities, drivers and needs. Analyse organisational and employee trends to identify appropriate cost effective HR programmes and interventions that improve business unit performance as required. These would typically include:-

?? Employee recognition and reward schemes

?? Employee communications and the introduction of IIP as demanded by business unit needs

?? Employee satisfaction monitoring and improvement

?? A well round HR professional practitioner with extensive TUPE and HR Business partnering experience, preferably gained working in a FM or related business environment

* Can demonstrate a successful track record of implementing 'added value' HR programmes in a commercially driven business environment
* Educated to degree level in HRM with a professional qualification CIPD or equivalent
