This is a rare opportunity to join a leading transport and infrastructure provider as they continue to grow the size, scope and the scale of their operation. This company are a truly respected and trusted organisation;

A prestigious and rare challenge awaits for a commercial candidate in which you will be part of the modernisation and installation of new line signalling technology. This is project will incorporate technology that has never been used before.

You will provide post-contract commercial management of medium value / medium risk activity and support pre-contract activity within the project delivery teams scope of work. You will provide specialist commercial advise, guidance and recommendation to mitigate commercial risks.

You will manage cost reporting of all allocated projects within the business reporting framework including, cost forecasting, anticipated final cost, cost of work done, gross billing and current contract values. You will monitor awareness of all activities on allocated projects in order to influence decision making from a commercial perspective.

The successful candidate will have the following:

* Experience in commercially managing investment projects
* Good understanding of railway and construction (or similar) industry forms of contract
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Degree in a related subject
* Member of RICS or similar institute
* Awareness of industry issues and challenges
