In a nutshell

This role is accountable for supporting the Marketing Campaign & Category Planning manager in delivering against the followings areas of key responsibility:

To support in delivering insight led, customer focused, commercially and operationally astute marketing plans which will engage our customers
To support a specified trading area by working closely with their teams to provide category specific marketing plans where relevant

What I need to do

Support the Marketing Campaign & Category Planning Manager to translate the Sainsburys Argos Customer Annual Plan in to meaningful and relevant campaign plans.
Lead the collation of information that supports the creation and implementation of the plans by gathering the required insights.
Look Externally - keep up to date with the market to understand opportunities and or risks to the plans
Be curious - be confident in asking why to ensure we are always driving the best plans for our customers.
Deliver robust marketing campaigns and promotional plans with clear objectives and measurable KPIs.
Lead Stakeholders to ensure our plans 'land'
Communicate to ensure the business is joined up with/aligned to our marketing plans
Know what is happening, when and what needs to happen in which order for plans to be delivered.
Establish and maintain the day-to-day operations of campaigns and the operational set up of customer facing events. Work with other areas of the business to ensure that the customer offer has the capability and operational processes to support it, improving the customer experience.

Technical skills & abilities

Excellent Excel & Powerpoint skills
Ability to use various sets of data and interpret the results to achieve the right balance of customer and commercial outcomes
Understanding of TSI guidelines
Strong ability to analysis insight and translate into actionable recommendations
