Are you a recent English Graduate looking for the ideal role to get a kick-start in your teaching career? The 'Good' school are hoping to meet with a passionate English Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their supportive English department to maintain their success of the student's progression in the core subject.
The successful English Graduate Teaching Assistant must thrive in a classroom environment and have a great confidence in their knowledge of English as a curriculum. It is required that you hold at least a 2.2 or higher in your English degree, as well as great academic grades including A-C GCSEs in Maths and English.
The role as an English Graduate Teaching Assistant will consist of; shadowing the class teachers in the department, giving them general classroom and out of classroom support allowing yourself to oversee various teaching skills whilst you adapt and expand on yours. Using your very own teaching abilities you will eventually lead independent one-to-one and small group booster sessions, working closely with high and low achieving students to help reach their academic and personal targets.
