About Us:

We are a global SAP solutions provider and have more than 200 staff spread across 6 offices around the world. Like many recruitment companies, we offer our clients both permanent and contract recruitment services through our staffing solutions arm, although unlike any other we also offer a full SAP consultancy service through our consultancy division. In 2013/14, we turned over more than £80 million, making placements into over 60 countries in the process. We also bought a shiny new Xbox for our chill out area, mainly because our Wii, pool tables and table football looked a bit lonely. 

About the role:

All of our most successful Recruitment Consultants started out as trainees at and worked their way up through our industry-leading training and development programme. As a result of several promotions in the business we are now looking to hire the next wave of future superstars into our Trainee Recruitment Consultant programme. 

During your training period, we’ll be working closely with you to ensure that you develop the core skills that you’ll need to become a top-performing and high-earning recruiter. You’ll start off by gaining a deep knowledge of our database, and then you’ll move on to working with candidates. Your role will be to contact our customer base by telephone to ensure that the information we hold on each person is up to date, accurate and complete, and also to identify and contact new candidates to add to our database. This will include obtaining their current CV, understanding their requirements for a new role and explaining why we are the best company to assist them in their job search, so excellent listening and communication skills are essential. 

The quality and accuracy of our candidate information is absolutely critical in allowing us to provide an excellent service to all of our customers and in making sure that we can beat our competition every time, so our Trainee Recruitment Consultants add real value to the organisation whilst building up valuable recruitment skills. This is an entry level role which provides the perfect platform to anyone wishing to pursue a career in sales or recruitment, and offers a whole host of exciting and lucrative career options in the future.

About You:

You’ll spend most of your time on the phone so excellent listening and communication skills are essential, and a good understanding of social media and networking sites such as LinkedIn or Facebook is also incredibly useful. You’ll need to be computer literate, organised and able to work under pressure, and we’ll need you to demonstrate strong attention to detail as well. 

We work in a fast-paced and dynamic commercial environment so you’ll need to show that you are smart, savvy and polished. It would be great if you have previous experience working in a sales or customer service role, although if you haven’t done so then that’s fine too. 

Oh, and our perfect candidate will be able to play Mario Kart without screaming in frustration and throwing the controller across the floor when they lose. Just saying.
