The Client

Onward Homes is the largest registered provider of social housing, based solely in the North West of England.

In April 2018, we brought the Group together under the Onward brand to signal our intention to increase our impact and to make a greater contribution to the communities and customers we serve. We are delivering a major transformation change programme in the way in which we deliver services and how we are structured as a business.

The Role

As part of our continued focus on developing and shaping our customer services and supporting our wider development strategy, we are looking for an Income Management Specialist, 1 post, to join our Operations Team.

This post is being offered on a fixed term contract for the duration of 10 months.

Reporting to the Income Management Team Leader, you will be responsible for management of rent accounts and income collection to reduce rent arrears, achieving agreed targets for revenue collection, embedding early intervention and the prevention of debt escalation as well as preparing casework and representing the Organisation at court in legal proceedings.

About You

To be successful you will have experience of managing rent accounts, preferably in the social housing sector, with an awareness of Income Management Procedures and Law. Have good organisation skills and the ability to communicate effectively, with colleagues at all levels and customers from a diverse background.
