We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to join our staff team as a Finance and Administration Officer with the aptitude and ability to learn on the job. This role will require you to maintain the day-to-day finances of two organisations and to work with the Receptionist and Development Officer on a broad range of administrative tasks. You will be responsible for working with the Chief Operations Officer to manage a GBP1.1m charity budget and will also have the opportunity to gain experience managing the finances and administration of a smaller organisation - the Parish of St Clement & St James.

The ClementJames Centre is an award winning charity that empowers the community to release its potential in one of London's most disadvantaged areas. Our vision is for everyone in our community to release their potential and live fulfilled lives. We achieve this through education, employment and wellbeing support in a safe and compassionate space.

The Parish of St Clement & St James covers an interesting and diverse area of Notting Hill and North Kensington. They have two churches, both with active youth and children's work and a parish primary school.

All of our programmes and services have expanded substantially over the past 5 years and at this exciting time, we are looking for a high-calibre candidate to join our team as a Finance and Administration Officer.

You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, be highly numerate with an interest in finance, and have the skills and aptitude to accurately maintain our computer-based finance records. You will have completed an undergraduate degree OR have relevant finance experience, and will have excellent inter-personal, organisational and analytical skills. You will be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and be highly efficient. You will also have passion and enthusiasm for the mission of The ClementJames Centre.

No specific experience is necessary but an aspiration to pursue a career in finance is desirable. For the right candidate or for those who are already actively studying towards an accountancy qualification, we can provide financial support for your training and exams.

If you believe that everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential in life, no matter who they are or where they come from, then we would love to hear from you.

If you wish to apply, please download and email your completed application form to us by 9am on Monday 21st January 2019. Please note that CVs are not an acceptable alternative.
