Embark Resourcing are currently supporting a leading Environmental Consultancy in Kent with their search for a driven, experienced and passionate QHSE Officer.
Our client has enjoyed a significant period of growth over the last few years and steadily increased their presence in the market to become one of the leading players within their sector. As a result of this growth they are expanding their team and are seeking a QHSE Officer to ensure the highest standards possible for their customers.
Reporting into the Director this role will be tasked with nurturing relationships with customers as well as developing and maintaining standards. A good understanding of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards will be essential.
This role will focus on Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and recognised management standards as well as providing competent advice to the Management Team in relation to Health and Safety as well as the continual improvement of the management system. This role would ideally suit an established Health and Safety Advisor with experience in a multi-disciplinary industry who is seeking a move into a dynamic, modern company.
In order to be considered for this role you will need to display the following:
* Promotion of Good Health, Safety and Environmental Practices.
* Driving license and own transport.
* Maintain certification to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OHSAS 18001:20017 (ISO 45001:2018).
* Health & Safety professional to Tech / Grad Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
* Provide a written report on Company performance with respect to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment for the quarterly Board of Directors Meetings.
* Experience in Chemical / Construction Health and Safety.
* Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety; NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (or equivalent); IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management (an advantage).
