Hampshire Innovation Volunteers

Could you help support children, young people and families and, in turn, help them avoid the need for extensive Children's Services intervention?

Hampshire County Council Children's Services has a well-established volunteering programme which we are looking to expand even further through recruiting more volunteers.

We have a large network of volunteers who work with children and families in their homes and communities, and we want to hear from you if you:

• Are passionate about supporting your local community
• Have the compassion and understanding to work with families who are experiencing difficulties and challenges
• Are able to confidently mentor young people
• Hold the skills to support and advise parents in need
• Can act as an advocate for young people and families who need support and guidance

We have a wide range of volunteering opportunities available, therefore volunteers can give as little as an hour or two per week, or more if they are able to. Full training, ongoing supervision and support is provided to all our volunteers. There are also a variety of one-off volunteering opportunities available across the County.
