SEXUAL HARASSMENT ADVICE WORKER

£26,081 (NJC SO1) pro rata

21 hours/week

You will work as part of a national project (including London Black Women’s Project and Latin American Women’s Rights-London) to deliver a specialist legal advice project focusing on the experiences of sexual harassment and abuse of black and minority women. You will provide legal advice towards litigation stage; undertake casework and weekly specialist advice surgeries. You will also deliver six monthly capacity building training to professionals focusing on black and minority women’s experiences of sexual harassment.

You will have regular contact with vulnerable women at risk and on occasion their children, and will be required to demonstrate commitment to safeguarding and protecting all service users from harm and abuse

These posts will be subject to an Advanced DBS check and are open to women* only (*exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1).
