HOLIDAY PARK MANAGER

£basic + commission (good OTE)

We are looking for a Park Manager with a passion for sales and customer service to join our well established, privately owned, client’s friendly team in their lovely park situated at a prime site in Mablethorpe. The Park Manager will be responsible for the management of this 170 unit site which includes a small fishing lake and on-site licenced premises which are for the sole use of owners, a small team of maintenance and gardening staff as well as a bar manager and bar staff. We are seeking an individual with a passion for sales and with the hunger and motivation to develop and grow this site. The Park Manager, reporting to the Operations Manager (based at the nearby head office), will be used to managing staff and will have previous sales experience, although we are keen to stress this is not a hard sell business. You will have a friendly personality with a passion for customer service and enjoy the challenge of developing this fabulous site, taking it to the next level and thus developing your own career. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of this site, you will not be targeted as clients have a genuine desire to buy a holiday home here!

Key responsibilities of Park Manager:

 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with owners
  • Manage prospects and leads promptly and efficiently
  • Resolve customer queries and after sales with a positive approach, effectively and efficiently
  • Work in a safe manner, with due diligence towards yourself, colleagues, customers and general public
  • Ensure that fire regulations are adhered to
  • Communicate daily with Operations Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
  • Monitor cleaning of holiday homes
  • Monitor rental instalments January – April, each season
  • Maintain continuous positive communication with customers to ensure sales of holiday homes from initial meeting to final handover
  • At all times adhere to the company Health and Safety policy with regard to staff, customers and premises, ensuring legal requirements are met
  • Adhere to all the park administration procedures, including monetary transactions

 

Personal specification – Park Manager:

 

  • Proven experience of managing staff (5 permanent and 3 seasonal)
  • Proven sales experience
  • A good eye for detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
  • Holiday park knowledge an advantage, but not essential
  • Own transport
  • Good sense of humour
  • An excellent team player
  • Excellent, proven customer service skills
