Senior NPD Technologist

ElevateRTC are currently recruiting for the UKs largest independent cupcake manufacturer based in North Wales for a Senior NPD Tecnologist to manage the introduction of new product concepts, ingredients and methods from initial brief to scale up in the factory through to launch. Responsibilities;

• Keep up to date with latest baking trends and generating new NPD ideas
• Attending quality panels
• Being the link between the customer needs and requirements and the process technologist's adherences to the factory processes
• Responsible for sourcing new ingredients, decorations, packaging and paper cases which include the specification, MOQ, lead times and price
• To develop innovative products for both NPD and EPD projects
• Responsible for sending kitchen and photography samples
• Deputize for NPD Manager. Includes organizing weekly work plan, organizing pre-launch meetings, attending internal meetings.

Skills and qualifications required to apply;

• A good understanding of the functions of ingredients used within the bakery sector
• Ideally already working in a Senior NPD position
• Fantastic communication skills
• Coordination and diplomacy
