Job Role: HR Advisor (6 Month Contract)
Location: Newark/Grantham/North Nottingham
Hours: Monday - Friday Full Time (Flexi)
Salary: GBP30k + Excellent benefits package
Harper Recruitment Group are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join our client within the Education industry. You will be qualified to CIPD level 5 and have a proven track record managing a range of HR cases.
What does the role involve?
-Provide employment advice and guidance using HR policies and procedures to meet best practice standards
-Working in partnership with senior leaders to resolve case management issues
- Assist in the provision of support and advice to managers in respect of the range of complex employee relations casework and associated activity in accordance with agreed policies and procedures
-To be the initial point of contact to provide advice on HR policy and procedure, employment law and terms and conditions of employment
-Oversee and advise on absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management policy and practice
-Liaise with Union colleagues in order to resolve complex cases in a timely manner
-Administration of all HR related correspondence
-Maintaining employee personnel files
-Building relationships with customers and colleagues
-Understanding HR systems and databases
-Covering across multiple sites
Who are we looking for?
-Proven experience within a HR function (HR Generalist, HR Officer, HR Advisor)
-CIPD Qualified to level 5
-Excellent relationship builder with strong communication skills
-Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
-Must have access to transport and be willing to travel
