Maintenance Planner
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner for our site in Porton Down.
Hours of Work: 40 hrs per week, 08.00-17.00
Job Purpose
To ensure the day to day planning, co-ordination and scheduling of engineering works using the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
Maintain liaison between the client, business support, engineering and sub-contractors.
Maintain appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results for the work done.
Principal Accountabilities:
To ensure the CMMS is up to date with workflow and planning schedules.
Eliminate delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of parts, equipment down time and labour
Efficient completion of job plans through effective planning and co-ordination of engineers, contractors and compliance
The production and co-ordination of all lab reports to be sent to the Performance Manager.
To monitor outstanding maintenance routines and where necessary highlight problem areas to the Performance Manager.
Completion of any other duties which are commensurate regards to maintenance position as defined by the Performance Manager.
In discussion with the Performance Manager, update maintenance routines and frequencies as required.
Good relationships to be fostered and maintained within Site Operations and with our business colleagues
Previous experience in a similar role.
Excellent administrative, project control, communication and organisational skills
Good people, planning, scheduling and prioritisation skills
Basic knowledge of office software systems
Resilient and proactive individual for this very busy role
