The Organisation

StreetDoctors is a network of student healthcare professionals (trainee doctors, nurses and paramedics) across the UK united by a passion to tackle the issue of youth violence. StreetDoctors volunteers equip young people at highest risk of violence with emergency life-saving skills and the confidence to use them. They discuss the medical consequences of violence and challenge attitudes, treating young people as responsible people capable of helping others. The work is both potentially life-saving and life-changing for the young people who attend.
