We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Operative to join our dedicated team in Walton-on-Thames and we really want to hear from you if;

You are a team player with knowledge of housing maintenance and health and safety requirements;

  • Are customer focused with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships;
  • Have an organised and structured approach to work;
  • Have a good knowledge of IT software’s and systems
  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative whilst maintaining a team ethos.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to work as an integral part of a dedicated Building Services team. You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and testing throughout PA Housing and supporting the Building Services day to day jobs.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player who puts customers first, will be qualified to a Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in trades or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate suitable experience. You will be highly organised with a passion for service excellence and continuous improvement and will be a strong communicator who is confident when liaising with people at all levels. Being capable of working to deadlines is essential as is having knowledge of housing maintenance, repair specifications and health and safety. You will ideally also have a strong knowledge of social housing management and of housing/property management systems (Northgate or similar).
