7.5 Tonne Driver / Branch Assistant

Clark Resources are currently assisting our client, in sourcing a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver / Branch Assistant, to join the team at the new depot in Rainham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company with multiple divisions and career advancement opportunities.
Drivers will require a licence to operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle, tachograph and drivers cpc card to be considered. Previous experience in a similar delivery / customer service role is highly desired. Knowledge of the construction industry is a distinct advantage.
Drivers will demonstrate and collect equipment to and from customers, suppliers and other divisions / businesses professionally, safely and on time.
Carry out vehicle checks every morning i.e. oil and water levels are sufficient, lights are working and tyres have the legal tread and complete relevent paperwork
Experience in construction and low level access equipment would be advantageous with knowledge of the local Rainham area required.
Monday to Friday, occasional saturdays
GBP25,000 basic, overtime at 1.5
Hourly rate 10.89 overtime 16.34
