Finance Manager. Our client, a successful manufacturing business in Peterborough, part of a major international group, is currently recruiting for an Finance Manager.
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days annual leave,
18% bonus
£6960 Car Allowance
Contributory pension scheme, to 10%

Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Due to retirement, our client has an exciting opportunity for a qualified experienced Senior Accounting Supervisor/Finance Manager to lead a Material/Inventory/Fixed Assets team.

Responsible for the accounting of material costs ($1 Billion annual spend), Inventory and Fixed Assets. Covers both legal entity accounting and working as a trusted business partner on forecasting and strategic projects.

This is a critical role and integral to the Finance department and a great basis for progression in the wide organisation.
The role has regular interaction with other business facilities across the globe and senior finance leaders.

Role and Responsibilities;
*Provides supervision with both technical and administrative responsibility for a team of primarily management staff who are responsible for month end closing, compliance and reporting/forecasting to our customers
*This position participates in the development and support of business strategies and proactively interacts with customers to develop, understand and manage customer requirements.
*Provides technical guidance and expertise in business issues

Required Skills and Experience:
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA with post qualifying experience
*Degree or equivalent experience

Desired Skills and Experience:
*Excellent business partnering skills
*Industry accounting experience
*First Rate analytical skills with ability to summarise and present at a senior level
