Based in Sawston (Cambridge), Burleigh Dodds Science Publishing is looking for a Commissioning Editor to build our successful range of titles to become the leading publisher in agricultural science. This is a great opportunity to join a small and friendly team in an award-winning independent publisher.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities:
- Some experience of commissioning, ideally in academic/STM publishing
- The ability to work proactively with editors and authors to build titles to meet the needs of end users
- Good organisational skills in building a strong programme and delivering a steady flow of profitable titles for publication
