£27,244 - £29,009 per annum

We are looking for a professional person with strong interpersonal skills to work as part of our Neighbourhood and Customer Support team. You will provide advice and practical assistance to support our customers to maximise their income from welfare benefits and to budget and manage their money in order to pay their rent.

You will work alongside our existing Money Management Officer, internal teams and external agencies, to provide a professional and efficient service to our customers, reaching time critical deadlines when required, offering debt support and signposting service to wider financial inclusion services to ensure customers avoid indebtedness. You will need knowledge and experience of Universal Credit as well as helping customers to apply and complete PIP, DHP and HB forms.

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach and an ability to adapt quickly to meet demands of this busy section, especially during times of significant welfare reform. You will have a strong customer focus and excellent knowledge of all benefits and money management matters to deliver a service to a high standard. With proven administration and IT skills, you will also have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to prioritise and be capable of dealing with challenging issues.

It is essential for the successful candidate to hold a Full Driving Licence and have access to a car due to the geography of our stock and the challenges of working across diverse and dispersed communities both within rural and urban areas.

In addition to a competitive salary, you will have access to a company pension scheme, life assurance, employee assistance programme, flexi-time and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
