Our client is a non-profit housing association providing valued housing management services to over 5,200 tenants and 260 leaseholders all over Gloucester. They have ambitious plans to grow by developing more new homes, expanding their commercial offers and improving their tenant’s services.
They are looking for someone with exceptional organisational skills, an inquisitive and forensic mind with an excellent customer centric service approach. You will help support their high level Governance arrangements, focussing on business continuity and assurance linked to their strategic risk management framework.
Key responsibilities include leading the British Standards ISO 9001:2015 accreditation process, managing their internal quality audit function; the development, improvement and implementation of the strategic risk management and business assurance frameworks, including reporting on their KPI’s and targets linked to their strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have come from a similar role within a housing or similarly regulated environment so will be familiar with these processes.
You will need to be a good communicator and be confident in working with a wide range of different stakeholders including Board members, leadership teams, managers, staff, their tenants and suppliers, providing advice and support on this subject area. A good understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management framework is essential along with knowledge of strategic risk management.
