Are you a Junior Creative Artworker or Designer looking for your first step into the agency world? Do you have bags of enthusiasm and creative know how and want to progress within a small busy creative team that is growing and can help shape and develop you? Then this small agency in Coventry could be just the role you are looking for.
The Company
This agency is small, but they are mighty in terms of the clients that they service and how fast they are growing. Based in Coventry in quirky offices, they have, over the past 5 years, amassed a reputation for delivering top quality creative work across both print and digital, UX/UI, digital content, infographics and exhibitions.
The Role
Being in a small team, you will work closely with the Creative Director across all of their clients, helping to bring his creative ideas to life, working some days from a rough scamp or rough Mac visual, creating and laying out designs across digital content, digital banners, brochures, websites, exhibition stands, hard back books and more.
An eye for layout and design and great Mac artwork skills using Adobe CS suite would stand you in good stead for this design agency. They work as much on digital as they do on print, so any knowledge of digital is advantageous, but equally, training will be given. This agency really wants someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into all sorts of briefs; it really is a varied role.
As the size of the agency grows, so will the role. This really is the type of role where you can get out what you put in and you can, together with the Creative Director, help shape the role and add value to their creative offering as an agency.
About You
You have studied design or visual communication and had either a creative placement in a creative studio, or perhaps have done a year within a creative team and are looking for a place to grow and develop. You will be happy to work across a wide range of work and have a good command of the Adobe CS suite and a portfolio of work that could span across your work at Uni or college, and potentially some commercial work, whether that is with another agency or in-house creative studio. This agency wants someone with great potential who is willing to work in a small team and help grow the agency, so great communication skills are needed as you may need to speak directly to clients from time to time.
Whilst this is a creative artworking role, there will be some design led/layout elements to this role, but the overall concept will be done by the Creative Director, however, there is plenty to get involved with and to learn.
If this sounds like the role you've been looking for, please don't delay in applying. Please note that we will need to see some portfolio examples as well as your CV when applying
