Machine Operator / Extrusion operator
Our client is a leading player in the plastics market and has an excellent reputation for the supply of film products.
We are currently recruiting experienced polythene film Extrusion Operators at our Brighouse site. Successful applicants will join a highly motivated team involved in the manufacturing of 'FILM' related products. We offer a comprehensive induction programme supported by on-going training.
Working 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am the company operates a continental shift system of 2 days on, 2 nights on and 4 days off.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, adjusting, and maintaining extrusion and in-line printing equipment.
Duties:
• Reading job specification sheets and obtaining all applicable tools and materials.
• Setting up machine to run jobs
• Carrying out machine adjustments as needed
• Ensuring target output is achieved with excellent quality and compliance to customer requirements and quality standards
• Identifying and promptly reporting any equipment malfunction, material, safety, and or quality issues
• Working closely with other members of the team to assure a cooperative and friendly atmosphere with regard to the daily activities of production
• Completing forms and quality measurements per production run
• Performing special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel
