An exciting 1 year maternity contract opportunity within an international business based in Farnborough. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will work alongside the existing Recruitment Coordinator for the first few months, taking over responsibility for sourcing and screening candidates for vacancies across the business, ensuring staffing levels are maintained and supporting line managers and the HR team as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

* Proactively gathering information regarding current and planned approved vacancies
* Liaising with business/divisional managers to agree time scales, job descriptions, candidate specifications and terms and conditions of employment
* Recruitment advertising which will include:

* Writing advertising copy
* Posting advertisements on identified job boards and other media
* Liaising with agencies on the PSL

* Screening all candidates and identifying/shortlisting for recruiting manager's approval
* Liaising with relevant managers to arrange interview times as appropriate
* Preparing and sending candidates the Company interview pack
* Preparing interview questions/case studies in conjunction with the recruiting manager
* Acting as interviewer with recruiting managers as required
* Reviewing on an annual basis the preferred supplier list of agencies used, agreeing and negotiating terms with them
* Keeping a record of costs relating to recruitment such as spend on agencies and advertising
* Completing all recruitment administration in conjunction with the HR administrator
* Supporting the new starter and on-boarding process
* Referencing new hires
* Responding to all ad hoc incoming speculative employment enquiries

Experience:

* A minimum of 2-3 years knowledge of and proven experience in recruitment, selecting candidates and selection interviewing
* Familiarity with HR legislation and current employment law would be an advantage

Skills required:

* Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
* Excellent written English
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Excellent organisation skills

We are looking for candidates who have a full clean driving licence as some travel to UK offices will be required. Hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm with 23 days holiday and a good benefits package
