Virgin Money has a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to support Customer Service Operations area deliver against its core service metrics, whilst providing crucial support in all resource related matters. It's an exciting time to work within Planning & Service Delivery, and we need an expert to provide their designated CSO area with comprehensive demand forecasts and capacity models in order they are able to deliver optimal customer service. As a Resource Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for managing your business areas headcount and overtime budget, recruitment, capacity plans and service level projections. You will effectively communicate recommendations as to how best customer service levels can be achieved, ensuring your forecasts are inclusive of all known standard/non-standard events that may influence demand volumes. You must have strong experience of being able to analyse trends, and reviewing demand related data to aid in forecast production. You're analytical and problem-solving skills will be put to the test in this role as you will be condensing complex information, drawing conclusions and/or recommendations from the facts/data provided - considering customer, cost & operational outcomes.

The successful candidate will be adaptive and flexible, pro-active in their approach to tasks, and will have excellent communication skills. Resource Planning Analysts are the face of Planning & Service Delivery, and will chair regular stakeholder sessions to review demand forecasts and capacity plans, agreeing any subsequent actions, and supporting in their delivery. We also need someone with the ability to build strong business knowledge and who understands our key challenges and drivers in the Financial Services sector.

A strong background in resource planning would be desirable for this role, as well as experience in using a range of planning principles to build, and maintain both front and back office forecast models. It is essential that you have outstanding communication skills and are able to present and engage with your stakeholders. The most successful candidates will also have worked with 3 rd party resource suppliers in the past, as this role will be predominantly delivering demand forecasts for an area of the business that is outsourced - meaning collaboration, and building a strong working relationship with the supplier will be essential.

Salary: From GBP23000 - GBP29000 plus amazing benefits

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
