The role is working for a major facilities management firm assisting the Facilities Manager with a prestigious portfolio of multi-tenanted properties in the City.

Assistant Facilities Manager / Facilities Co-ordinator, you will be providing full assistant to the Facilities Manager - getting involved with service charge budget preparation, contractor management, client & tenant liaison, problem solving, hard & soft services, Health & Safety and providing a good quality facilities service.

* Assistant Facilities Manager / Facilities Co-ordinator - ideally IOSH or NEBOSH
* First point of contact for tenants regarding all facilities management services
* Assisting the Facilities Manager, setting and managing service charge budgets
* Assist with hard & soft services procurement
* Monitor contractor performance against SLA's and KPI's
* Assist with the building's Socially Responsible Management activities.
* Help manage plant and equipment / M&E and be responsible for building management systems.
* Implement minor works, and control routine expenditure
* Help prepare site regulations and issue permits to work for all contractor activities on site.
* Maintain, test and implement disaster planning procedures and organise and co-ordinate fire evacuation and bomb drills.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of occupier handbooks.
* Assist with monitoring vacant/void property
