Trade counter sales person
We are looking for an outgoing enthusiastic mature sales person for our busy trade counter
As a front line sales person you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to a mix of both trade and retail customers. Selling timber related products and also an extensive range of ironmongery.
Other duties will include merchandising the trade counter sales area, handling cash, checking and receiving supplier deliveries, completing and following up customer quotes, replenishing the timber racks with stock and housekeeping in both the trade counter and timber store.
There is a high level of physical work involved in replenishing the timber store racks.
Full on the job training will be given, but some experience of builders merchants or timber merchants is preferred.
Hours of work are Mon-Fri 7.30am to 5.00pm, Sat 8.00am to 1.00pm (3 on 1 off), 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
