This leading worldwide and well established manufacturer is leading the way with innovative print finishing equipment and are now looking for a keen and enthusiastic Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

As the Electrical Design Engineer, you will be dealing with all aspects of machine manufacturing from concept to completion and provide the relevant supporting technical documentation at each step. You will continually strive to improve the operations and adapt the 5S and lean philosophy to all processes of the business.

The successful candidate will be to comply with the electrical and control safety requirements and design standards, as well as producing and checking electrical drawings.

You will review projects alongside the Mechanical Design and Software Engineers to ensure that the electrical design meets with the customers requirements and make any necessary amendments or modifications to the drawings/wiring diagrams.

As the Electrical Design Engineer, you will be comfortable and able to communicate with all levels and provide technical support to the Service Department, Engineers, Electricians, Sub-Crontractors and Customers, as well as travelling to the Customers/Suppliers site when required.

As part of the design process, you will analyse and interpret date; create and carry out test procedures, whilst completing process checking information, whilst still developing quality and safety improvements.

You will assist in the training and development of Colleagues and Apprentices and support leadership functions in the absence of the Team Leader.

For this role, you will be qualified to HNC/HND or degree level with suitable electrical design experience, as well has having relevant PLC/HMI/Software knowledge to support design and up to date IT skills.
