Private Client Solicitor

We are currently looking for an experienced Court of Protection or Private Client Solicitor to join our Court of Protection department in Birmingham. The Court of Protection is the judicial body in England and Wales responsible for managing the affairs, assets and estates of anyone who does not have capacity to manage their own finances. The team has a strong reputation in dealing with the full range of Court of Protection services including deputyship services, gifts, Enduring & Lasting Powers of Attorney and replacing deputyships with private trusts. We have dedicated departments located in Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and London that provide a specialist nationwide service. Our team based approach means we work with colleagues to combine legal expertise from financial management, planning, investment, taxation and returns to the Court. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills within an established and innovative national law firm and department. You will be working within a fast-paced team on a stimulating mix of cases. You will not only be technically excellent but also a good communicator with rounded client service skills. You must be able to develop strong relationships with a wide range of people, be empathetic, supportive yet directional. I f you are an experienced Solicitor with 3-6 years PQE, we would really like to hear from you. You must have good IT skills and be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
