The Stamford Endowed Schools are seeking to appoint a Head of Admissions.
A key strategic role working across the three Schools, the Head of Admissions is responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of a highly effective, forward-looking admissions function.
Managing a professional, hard-working team of five, the Head of Admissions will offer outstanding leadership for this highly valued team. Reporting to the Director of Development and External Relations, and working closely with colleagues in marketing, alumni relations and fundraising, the Head of Admissions will also interact with the Principal, Heads, Director of Operations, Head of Boarding, and senior management at all three schools.
Applicants must have an exceptional understanding of the independent schools market, a strong track record working in a relevant customer-facing admissions, recruitment or sales role, and experience in managing and developing teams. The successful candidate will be confident, articulate, outgoing and intellectual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging and extremely rewarding role.
This is an ideal position for an ambitious and motivated admissions professional who is aiming to progress to director level in a subsequent role.
