At Select Norwich we are currently recruiting for a Contracts Officer on behalf of a company based near NNUH. This will be a temporary role for 14 months, starting from January.

The Role:

  • Working with the fast-paced and busy Procurement Team, the successful applicant will ensure the business is supported from a cost, performance, quality and compliance perspective
  • Manage and improve supplier/contract performance and relationships, ensuring suppliers perform to agreed levels and addressing any service delivery issues
  • Liaise with service leads to ensure they are getting the expected service from relevant contractors
  • Supervise purchasing to ensure smooth and cost-effective running
  • Work closely with Asset Manager, ensuring projects are completed in timely manner
  • Compile tenders using tender templates
  • Manage tender processes including compiling using the tender templates, scoring, and negotiations to completion

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Supervisory experience essential
  • Excellent communication skills across levels
  • Experience using Archibus, eProcurement, SAP, Bar Code Scanner advantageous
  • Negotiating skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
