We are a Buckinghamshire based housing association providing homes and services to local communities throughout the Vale of Aylesbury, we have around 7,200 homes. We pride ourselves on working closely with residents and surrounding communities to make sure we deliver high quality housing, homes and services. We are looking for a Domestic Energy Assessor to help us achieve our vision and goals.

The Role:

1 Regularly undertake inspections to produce accurate energy performance certificates for the Trust's residential properties.
2 To create and maintain accurate computer and manual records, providing information when required and ensuring that all certificates are uploaded to the Trust's asset management database regularly.
3 Develop and submit all assessments to the Government register in a timely manner.
4 Continuously monitor and review performance delivery, maximizing the use of resources, effectively prioritising and ensuring that daily targets in terms of survey numbers and quality of work are met.
5 Ensure that the highest levels of customer service are practiced when liaising with residents, remaining polite and courteous at all times, complying with customer care requirements.
6 Build effective relationships with the Trust's external consultants, ensuring accurate EPC survey completion reporting against annual targets.
7 Prepare detailed reports on energy efficiency parameters in line with the requirements of the Trust's Energy Efficiency Policy.
8 Represent the Trust when attending meetings with contractors where matters related to energy assessment may be required.
9 To undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time.
10 To comply fully with the Trust's corporate policies including Health & Safety and Equality & Diversity.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Domestic Energy Assessor qualification
* Knowledge of home energy efficiency products.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Excellent organisational skills to include time and priority management adhering to deadlines.
* Use of a car and a valid driving license.
* Intermediate knowledge of I.T. applications to include excel & word.
* Ability to work unsupervised and apply initiative when required.
* Ability to re-access priorities in a re-active environment to ensure the needs of the business are met at all times.
