Full-Time Maths Teacher required at a Secondary school in Burnley to commence January 2019

Your new school is a mixed 11-16 secondary free school located in Burnley. The school recently opened and has state of the art facilities. In a recent OFSTED inspection, the overall effectiveness was deemed as Good, with the report boasting about the effectiveness of leadership and management throughout school alongside the personal development, behaviour and welfare. The school has quickly established an excellent reputation within the local community and is also easily accessible via the M65 motorway.

Your new role
Joining a high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics through to KS4. The role is full time and is to commence on a temporary basis from January 2019 until the end of the academic year. Registration commences at 08:30 and the school day finishes at 16:00. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work delivering a commitment towards pupil progress and attend all school functions including parents evening.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching Mathematics through to KS4. You must be in a position to commence the role from January 2019 and be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment. The school are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who will assist pupils in helping them achieve their full potential.
