CLERK TO SANDHURST PARISH COUNCIL
Sandhurst Parish Council seeks an applicant with sound administrative and management skills who can assist in the formation and review of Council policies. Knowledge of local government procedures would be an advantage.
With training the applicant would also be required to maintain the Parish website [knowledge of WordPress would be advantageous]
If you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is capable of running the Parish Council Office whilst managing your own workload we would like to hear from you.
The role will require contact with members of the public, parish councillors and a wide range of individuals with the objective of building effective partnerships.
HOURS:
Whilst the hours are negotiable and subject to review a number of evening meetings will be required.
SALARY:
Will be by negotiation and within pay bands set nationally.
The Parish Council offers a nationally-based contract of employment and encourages training and development relevant to the job role. We would ideally wish the successful applicant to study for the CilCA [Certificate in Local Council Administration] and achieve this within a reasonable time frame of appointment.
