Trainee Lifeguard
Job Summary
Our resort in Bognor Regis on the South Coast are looking to hire trainee lifeguards for their brand-new swimming pool opening in April 2019.
You should be enthusiastic and passionate about ensuring an amazing experience, the safety of others, and have excellent communication skills.
You need to be fit, focused and ready to go at all times. You'll be like a swimming superhero.
So, with that in mind, could you be our next lifeguard?
Responsibilities and Duties
• To supervise guests using the Pool, Features and Flumes, ensuring a fun and safe experience is had by our Guests,
• Direct guests out of the pool in hazardous conditions
• Monitor pool-related activities closely when poolside
• Provide assistance to guests when appropriate or necessary
• Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool
Qualifications and Skills
We will provide you with the necessary skills, qualifications you need in order to become a qualified lifeguard, meaning by joining our team we will provide you an opportunity to gain your NPLQ and First Aid Qualification, all we ask:
• A good level of physical fitness, you will be required to undertake a pre-employment skills test in the water
• A commitment to Health and Safety.
• The ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Flexibility in your job role and duties.
• The ability and enthusiasm to take on added responsibilities as they arise.
• A confident and calm professional manner, with good presentation and excellent motivational skills
