Job description

Psycle Limited are seeking a Choreographer and Creative Director to join its UK team.

Key responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • innovating, training and monitoring the technique and dance moves used to expand upon Psycle’s product -  Ride;
  • as a result from having extensive and professional international experience as both a dancer and choreographer, this role will be able to creatively implement routines that are rhythm based;
  • give direction on how to develop the product, senior trainers and talent team;
  • building and innovating the product by creating rhythm based dance movements and techniques that targets the upper body, core and legs to enhances key muscle groups, energy systems and the mind-body connection; 
  • strategy and execution of Ride product using dance choreography skills to innovate the product and talent team to fuel expansion;
  • strategy and execution of recruitment and training academy;
  • strategy and execution of the mentorship program to ensure quality control and tier progression;
  • attending classes and giving direction on how to implement dance-choreography moves and analyses technique and performance, and determining how improvements can be made; and
  • creating and implementing a plan to ensure wellness, physical strength and agility is maintained at all times across the talent team by leading technical workshops based on technique, rhythm and dance-choreography.

 

 

Essential qualifications, skills and experience

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • 10 plus years experience as a professional dancer-choreographer with international experience;
  • five plus years experience as a rhythm based cycle instructor with international experience, of which two plus years must have been at the title of ‘Senior Instructor’ or above;
  • two years experience in training and managing teams; and
  • ability to teach five or more in-door rhythm based cycling classes per week and attend at least three other classes per week for quality control.
